This Privacy Policy explains how BEDIAKO Intelligence, Inc., doing business as Campus Link ("Campus Link," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use campuslinkapp.com and the Campus Link app.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, school (.edu) email address, password, campus name, college year, age, and student ID.
• Verification information: your .edu email and student information are used to confirm student status.
• Content you provide: listings, messages, photos, threads, comments, and profile details you post, including anonymous posts, which are hidden from other users but remain linked to your account internally.
• Camera and photos: the app accesses your camera or photos only when you choose to take or upload a picture. We do not access your photo library in the background.
• Device and notification data: if you enable notifications, we store a notification identifier for your device so we can send push notifications.
• AI assistant data: messages you send to Clevre, our in-app AI assistant, are processed to provide answers and may be sent to third-party AI and web search providers.
• Usage data: basic analytics (pages visited, device/browser type) to keep the platform working and secure.
• Payment information: where applicable, payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card or bank account numbers.

2. How we use your information

• To verify you are a current student and maintain a trusted campus community.
• To operate the marketplace: display listings, enable messaging, and facilitate transactions.
• To send notifications about messages, likes, comments, and platform updates.
• To power Clevre and answer your questions.
• To maintain platform safety, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers for targeted advertising.

4. Sharing of information

We share limited information with service providers who help us operate the platform, including hosting, email delivery, push notifications, payment processing, and AI and search services used by Clevre. Each is bound to protect your data. We may also share information when required by law or for urgent campus safety situations.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain account and listing data while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time in the app (More → Settings → Account Management → Delete Account) or by emailing support@campuslinkapp.com. Your personal data will be removed from our active systems.

6. Your choices

You can update your profile information in your account settings, turn notifications on or off in your device settings, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, so we encourage strong, unique passwords.

8. Children's privacy

Campus Link is intended for college students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
